l myself think they r going all the way, not just cause that is wut l wud like to happen either, l mean, they got Burnett, Sabthia, makin bid for texiera, lookin pretty good, their pitching rotation is great, and this year A-Rod is due for a good year (noticeably his good years r odd one's, mvps: 2003, 2005, 2007, and hopefully 2009 along wit a ring) and l think the new yankee stadium will bring some new adrenaline. what do u think?

They might make the playoffs but l think the world series are a bit of a long shot.

It looked good last season as well. The issue with last year was injury more than anything. Freak injuries-- rib cages, foot ligaments, you name it. Knees gave out, thumbs got hit.

Injury is something every team must contend with. The Yankees need to pull through it better this year.

l myself am a yanks fan..i dont think we have a good chance of going all the way this year..but since we have a new stadium,we might... a-rod is now divorced.it might have something 2 do w/his performance this year or it might not...

The yankoffs are supposed to win the world series every year and they always find a way to screw it up. So we will see.

In all honesty, things have to happen right for them.

They are short a couple of bats, CC Sabathia has been lit up by Boston on a number of occasions, and you will be missing Mussina and Pettite, and the one thing those guys did was ''eat up'' innings.

The Yankees have the makings of a champion, but things have to go right for them to get it all done.

the big problem for the yankees was pitching last year they have the hitters all they needed was some pitching help. now that they have that they are almost assured a playoff spot. l would be very suprised if they do not play well. hopefully the will pick up another hitter in replace of giambi and abreu (fingers crossed for texiera)

l think you guys will have a 90 win year, but land in a wild card spot and only make it up to the ALDS.

They only made two moves, but signing CC and Burnett is huge, because is makes their starting rotation among the best in the league. Sabathia, Burnett, Wang, Chamberlain, and maybe Hughes. that is an excellent rotation. l really think that if they sign Teixeira, they will win the World Series. But with the team they have right now, they will make a lot of noise.

On paper every year the Yankees r the best team in baseball. It is always a matter of putting it together. As of right now they have much better pitching than last year, which is usually key to winnig in the post season however there hitting looks weak. They have a gaping hold for A-Rod protection. If they can get Tex or Manny l see them winning the world series. If not l see them fighting it out for the wild card with some really pissed off pitchers beacuse they cant get very much run support! True one man dosent make a team, but no protection for u big hitter is stupid!

With the team as is l do not think so. When they signed CC they just replaced their ace from last year, Mussina who retired. He won 20 games last year & that is what u can expect from CC. They signed AJ & just replaced the other pitcher they lost in Andy & they lost Abreu & Giambi who produced for them last year. And Jeter & Damon & Posada r all on the down slope of their careers. There pitching last year was not horrible, but their offense ranked 7th in the AL & its worse this year. They r still the third best team in the AL East unless they sign another bat & some more bull pen help as well, Mo cant pitch everyday.

abslutely yes but no because yes and red sox but the mets and of course the other teams plus no and the deciding factor being you just lost five point asking a quwstion so ha and you still have to consider the NFL and NHL because there are other sports that have to do with nothing and l got 2 point for answering. ha
