People have critisized their closer, BAM! K-Rod. Then people said that they need a setup, BAM! Putz. Now people are talking about their pitching rotation, and now they have their eyes on a left hander, Randy Wolf. Plus, there is also talk about Pat Burrel.

Also, which team so far has been doing the best trading this offseason?

As long as he has fixed the mets bullpen and starting staff l think he has done a great job. He needs to sign one more starter and get a left fielder. The best trading team has been mets by getting two dominating relievers in putz and K-rod

Some things are difficult to accomplish within the constraints and the team budget, but l think that Minaya has shown, both with Washington and the Mets, that he is an intelligent GM and knows how to get things done.

l am not a Mets fan, but l have respect for him and what he has achieved.

DEfinetly because last off season we needed major bullpen changes & he did nothing & that brilliant move dug us in to the ground but know that he has a chance at gettin new bull pen pitchers l have a whole new opinion on him tht was a major two moves wit putz & rodriguez bu l also think we need a new second basemen go for a shortstop & replace jose witr him & move jose over to second base it would be a dominant infeild


Oh & the yankees have done the best off season trading cuz the picked up two dominant picthers

l have always liked Omar. l think he put the Mets back on the map. Even though the Mets had two straight dissapointing seasons l do not blame him.

I've always loved Omar. He is a great GM, one of the most agressive, successful and is one of the most well spoken GMs. He makes great moves that help a team, especially if he is on a budget.

K-Rod and Putz have helped. l was shocked to see him trade for three white guys. Randy Wolf? WTF is that though. I'd hope the Mets fanbase would be smart enough to give him the thumbs down on that move.

He is Ok.
He did well replenishing the bullpen, but he put last year is disaster of a bullpen together by overpaying for the awful Wagner and Schoenweis.
He overpaid Castillo. He traded for our horrible catcher, Schneider. We had no bench last year.
Please do not mention Burrell. He cannot field, run, and his only plus is the long ball.
Wolfe is adequate at best, nothing better. Lets' not get excited and overpay for him.

l am not sold on Putz just yet. As for Omar, he does have his good and bad moments. It comes with the job.

l think Omar has made up for several of his mishaps over the past year or so by signing K-rod and Putz. He did it without giving up the farm, so that earns him some points. He is still got to sign a starting pitcher and find someone to take Luis Castillo is contract (beg is more like it,) but so far he is doing a good job this off season. l think the Mets are definitely doing the best trading/signing this winter.
