I am a Red Sox fan, and a few weeks ago, one of my favorite non-red sox, cc sabathia, was signed by the Yankees. Great. Then, not long after, AJ Burnett, a man the Sox were going for, signed with- GUESS WHO!!- the Yankees. So its been a couple of weeks, and just this morning, the red sox were named the favorites in the Teixeira (spell check) chase. But look who signed him a couple hours later, by a difference of $12 million dollars. So why am l mad at the arch rivals? Take a wild guess, easy 10 points
for those who say ''get over it, they've won two title already'' you know what l say....SCREW YOU!!!! l may be a little spoiled with my boston teams lately, seing as the celtics are on an 18 game run, the bruins are arguably the best in the league, and i've since abandoned the patriots for 2 teams with an actual future- the falcons and the vikings, and both are in playoff contention, so maybe im just a little spoiled 69 (jk im not 69) year old butt, but l am not a Yankee Fan, so thank the lord JESUS CHRIST ALMIGHTY FOR THAT. HALLELUJAH!!!! AMEN!!! and the giants suck too.....as do the atlanta hawks.......and the colts, pistons, spurs and rays can also bite me!!

l am a die hard red sox fan. Do not worry Burnett has a history of injuries and pettite is old. Who knows what can happen. You mad because they spend to much money and they are overrated?

Be happy about it. Since Epstein is takeover, the Sox have only dolled out 2 contracts 50mil+, for Drew & Dice-K. As a fan, it sucks to see Teixeira bolster their line-up, but still, think about what ours still is. It is nice. We r not the offensive powerhouse we were with Manny, but we still managed the ALCS. l am happy we're not sinking ourselves with bloated contracts for players who r not worth it. Look at the numbers, Bay & Teixeira r pretty close to offensive twins, Lowell is still as good as it gets at 3rd, & we r not paying 22.5 million a year for a player that is not near the caliber of Manny or A-Rod. So be happy, & hope for picking up a true bat, Matt Holliday next off-season.
