''I'' want Joe Torre back? l think Joe Torre is the most overrated manager in the history of baseball. He was a below average manager for 15 years before he took over an allstar team. My peepee could have managed that team two four WS victories. A better manager might have won six WSs with that team. Torre just lucked out into the position.

Let me guess u want Joe Torre back so he can get in his time machine & go back to 2000 to bring home a trophy. My guess is that he promotes someone internally. Where is Stump Merrill these days? It wo not be Torre, the Dodgers wo not let him come back, & Pinella is also under contract. Willie Randolph is a possibility, but Milwaukee will probably want to be compensated in some way, & he is not really worth any compensation.
