Remember the United States Olympic basketball teams prior to 2008? Loaded with NBA stars & they came up way short when the teams of other countries handed it to them. Like basketball, baseball is a team sport where individual abilities gives way to the goals & needs of the team. Individual talent was no match for those team efforts that easily handled the superstars. Now let is look at the dodgers. They made it to the playoffs last year without any stars while the Yankees had a team full of stars & did not go to the playoffs. l believe the Dodgers r loaded with young talent that will once again put them in contention to reach their goals as a team, & they will do it without a star player as defined by ur standards.
