Yankees: CC, AJ, WANG

O's: Guthrie(who), Olson (who), Waters(who)

Blue Jays: Halladay, Litsch, McGowen

Yankees cause CC and Wang are both 20 game winners and Aj can get u at least 17. the only thing about them is none of them really have playoff experience and wen they have been in the playoffs they have choked

If AJ stays healthy, the Yankees. Otherwise, the Red Sox.

Very good question. l would say the Sox and Yanks are are tied cause its just too close. The Rays are a close 3rd, Followed by the Jays, Finally the Birds.

I'd say the Red Sox. All of those three are consistant and they come through time after time. The Yankees are a close 2nd.

Becket l am uncertain if he will have a great year like in 06 or 07 or like 08 were he wasnt good. AJ is good when healthy but CC has terrible postseason ERA. The Rays are good and they also have andy sonestine who was good last year.

Odds r one (or more) of the teams will have an injury to a top 3 starter & that could change everything.

l would go with the Rays.
Red Sox: Lester and Dice-K are a little overrated.
Yankees: CC, AJ, They need to prove themselves in NY.

Depends on health. A number of those guys could be on the DL by seasons end.

The O is will get to a hot start as they always do then fall off in may then either the rays or Yankees will be atop the Al east, as for the best 1-2-3 punch on paper it would be the Yankees, but l have to go with the Rays because they are younger and know how to win now

The Sox. You basically have 3 aces. Lester was awesome(no-hitter was amazing), Dice-k had a good year going 18-3(granted l could not watch any of his games. He always freaks me out when he walks like 10 people in one game!), and Beckett(he was our ace and hopefully will be this year)

When l read the part about the Orioles and Blue Jays being sent to Japan, l was like ''what?!?''. l would say, it depends on how CC and AJ pitch with the Yankees. l mean some great pitchers end up choking when playing for the Yanks. l would say Boston has the best pitching.

The Yankees. Wang is underrated. Any team would have loved to have added either CC or AJ.
As for the Sox, Beckett is overrated because of his postseason success (which was not so good last year), DiceK flirts with danger in every start ( l dont know how he wins so many games), Lester has more to prove.
As for the Rays, Lets see them do it again.
BTW: If you think Beckett is better than Wang (and most of you do), l can show you many stats that prove otherwise.

l like the Rays 1-2-3 with Kazmir, Shields & Garza.

Rays because they are younger and Shields and Garza have not had injury problems. Second would be Yankees, third Red Sox, fourth Blue Jays, and fifth Orioles. The A.L. East is rich in starting pitching.

Hmm. I'd sa the Rays & Yankees r close. IMO Garza takes a drop off. Wang is the Yankees No.2 starter, but will likely be their no. 3 thansk to Burnett is salary. l look at the Red Sox & l see three major injury risks. Lester due to his innings expansion in 2008 which will likely guarentee him to be on the DL. Beckett, with his mystery injury late last season & Dice-K thanks to him being the workhorse on the japanese WBC team. McGowen wo not be ready out of the gate. He had TJ last year. CC>Kazmir, Burnett < Shields(love him) Wang > Garza. l give the slight edge to the Yankees.
