i'd say they have a marginal ''effect.'' l hate atlanta teams cause there are sooooo many blacks there. ugh, those arenas and stadiums must reek.

l do not dislike any teams themselves, but just fans of that team. Well except the Dodgers. l will make an exception for them.

A MASSIVE effect.
In fact, fans r the ones that sway me to disliking a team the most. Cubs fans r idiots. l might not hate the Cubs as much if the fans were not so stupid.
In the NFL, it is the Cowboys. The fans r obnoxious, cocky morons who r convinced that they're better at everything.
lol, that is it. Fans sometimes make me like the team, but that is pretty rare. When l am deciding which team to root for in a game, l look at who is fans r more cocky, & l root for that team to lose.

Little effect l guess . l only really dislike 1 team and that is the Sox ( Im a Yankee fan ) and it does not really have anything to do with the fans ( even tho some fans can definitely add fuel to the fire ) it is all about the rivalry .

A medium effect, I've meet with so many Red Sox fans, and they're very nice fans. However, it is whether your favorite team has a rivalry with that team.

Not really that much to be honest. The exceptions would be those team is that completley disregard Indian heritage ie. Florida State and Atlanta Braves.

A little effect. l mostly base it on if they are my team is rivals or something along those lines. But if they have some extremely rude and obnoxious fans, then it might have an effect on how l look at that team.

a lot because they are annoying and retarded. so you want their favorite team to lose so you can tell them to shut the hell up and go cry in a corner.

What is the main reason why many people say they hate Red Sox/Yankees fans? It is that stupid rivalry that makes them both hate eachother and make them look like jackasses and idiots therefore repelling other fans away in which repels the team away from other fans. So l would say that it is a big effect.

Well thats the reason l hate some teams there fans are idiots. l hate the mets because there fans when l went to the Yanks vs Mets game were drunk and also screaming and taking off there shirt when they got a run. Have not met a bad sox fan though but its ouyr rival so l gotta hate'm

None at all. l gave up worrying about what other people say and do a long time ago. l like or dislike a team for its own sake, then l consider the fans.

yes l do admit that if most (NOT all for there certainly are classy fans everywhere in the world!) of the fans of a certain team are obnoxious, cocky and plain rude l will look at that team in a certain negative light. It makes it harder to like that team. so. some effect yes

l do not think a teams fans should decide whether you like a certain team or not. If that is how you base your opinions on other teams, that is not being a good baseball fan. Sure hate the fans but do not hate the team by your opinion on their fans. Everyone knows the Phillies do not ave the best fans and maybe l do not like the fans, but it does not (and shouldn't) affect how much l like the team. GO TWINS!

If it would be an affect. The worst part is though, when your at a home game, but the away teams fans are there. And when they sit by you too. That just makes the game a wee bit less enjoyable.. just a tiny bit though. Other than that, the fans have nothing to do with it.

The BIGGEST affect ever! To me, this has a HUGE affect. It is almost like the fans are how the team is too, which is almost set in my mind, and l just dislike a team. l do not like the Angels (mostly fans) not to mention they are division rivals. If there was no Angels fans harassing the A is and their fans, l may not dislike them as much, but since there is, sadly, l do not dislike the Angels, l hate them =/

none at all, the team is in no way responsible for the teams fans actions or behavior.

It really has no effect on me at all. l know that every team has good fans, and every team has stupid, annoying fans, so it does not really bother me.

Not too much. l try not to judge fanbases. Every team is going to have crappy fans but that does not mean everyone is like that. l am probably like this because l know the reputation Yankee fans have. So really who am l to judge? lol
There is only one team that l REALLY do not like & as u know, it is the Red Sox. Even if their fans were the nicest group in the world, l would still dislike the team. But the Red Sox have quite a few bad fans (not u of course lol) & they do make me dislike the team more.

A moderate effect. l might like or dislike a team because of certain players, but the fans also play a role.
