Being a Brewers fan l hope for the best, but think Hoffman is way past his prime.

He is past his prime, but he can still be productive. He is clean, not a steroid creation like Gagme, oops, l mean, Gagne. Gagne is a disgrace and the Brewers should have done some homework. Hoffman may not be a 50 save guy anymore, but he can help the Brewers.

Not as bad. Gagne was washed up in Texas and last few years in LA. l think Hoffman will be a solid closer, but not great. However, Gagne had some serious HGH and roids questions considering how once they started testing and punishing those for it, Gagne went from getting 70 in a row or whatever to not being able to get a single out in 2/3 of his appearances.

No Hoffman is still ok.his arm is fine. l know he had a mediocre year last year, but he is a good signing.

Gagne.bad move by Brewers management.gave him 10 mil, when he was worth 3 or less.a few good outings in Boston, only a few..he already got run out of Texas.nah Hoffman is much better.
