He is underrated and could bring a lot to a club. He is a .296 career hitter, and averages 15 homeruns a season. What team do you think he is going to end up on?
3B man? He is left handed! He still contributes to a club, and is a doubles machine!!!

he is under rated. this is a guy who is a former batting champion & mvp. l dont know exactly where he will end up, but it will be a team that either will use him as a back up for 1b/OF or dh. l think his days of being an everyday starter in this league r over. there arent many teams who have an opening in their lineup for him to be a starter, & those teams that do arent going to win anytime soon, (like the royals or my orioles) & l dont think he wants to go to a team like that this late in his career

He was previously underrated. He still hits for an acceptable Batting Average, but he has no pop in his bat, and does not contribute power or extra base hits for his team. He has not a better than average fielder at this time. He would be a nice bench player or a 4th outfielder.
Teams will not, and should not, overpay for him.

l agree 1000% with jm anderson was underrated like 5 years ago, but now he will just get you 10-15 homers, and he is just and average player now, you can get a rookie to do that for a fraction of the price. and dont forget that the man is gettin old

He was a great player for the Angels(my team woot woot) lead them to a WS in 2002, but he is definitely older and lazier. A fourth outfielder or DH would be a good position for him

l am all about him being on my Twins. We need a third baseman and I've always liked his abilities. He has been bad outside of Coors field in his career. That is the only concern l would have with him. No matter what, he would be better than last year, Mike Lamb, etc. or even the last 5 years. We have a surplus of outfielders, it makes sense.

He will at least be invited to a spring training and given a chance to make a club if he is not signed before then. Probably a relatively low contract with incentives.
