For the British sports fans, would you like to have a Major League Baseball team in London some day?

Even though these ladies did not answer the question, like most people on here; l will do it for them, although some of the did have merit. No, it is a bad idea. Anything that is stretched globally is bad. It means more control for government & less for the people & l know this is a sport, but when things start going globally everything else will follow. l in particular believe it is indeed boring as boring can get. Only when the Diamondbacks get close to the playoffs will l even think about it. It is also a matter of opinion as well. But l personally think as well is that u r looking for someone to agree with ur answer.

No, baseball is America is Past Time. It should ONLY be played in the United States. I've been a Red Sox fan since 1981. Why should l suffer and stay up watching games when they'd be on at a different hour. Not fair to me as a long time Sox and baseball fan.

l do not think America is West Coast teams could quite make the road trips. Or the East Coast teams for that matter.

l just couldnt see it happening. It is to far to travel.since teams play with few days off in between it is just to much to ask of a team to travel that far! Maybe they could start a minor league system over there & see what the interest is to get a feel for the market!

Probably not even though l would love that to happen but it is not like England is so close as Canada. Plus UK & US r indeed too different country & there r still too few baseball fans in the UK even in London. Plus even that one of the franchise is willing to buy a team & gather all the best players from Europe & England, the team will still be at a AAA level team compare to American teams. l doubt the players lives would like to travel 13 hours (some states) to London to play with only half full of people in the stadium watching every day.

Not in the MLB. Far too hard to travel between London, San Diego, & New York in one day for each trip. In baseball, teams r in different cities only a day after they played in another.

However, l think that England could start a league of baseball, across Europe. That would be better for them. l love baseball, & l am sure that if leagues started in England, more & more people would grow to enjoy the game.

l do not think that baseball will ever surpass the love of soccer in England, but one day, l am hoping for a league to form.

l mean they are overseas, so unless they put a team in Hawaii or Alaska, I'd say no. Maybe, we could add U.K if we added say, Dominican Republic, Cuba, or Puerto Rico.

MLB in the UK, no way..not even. First, too far to travel to see the game. Second, Cricket is the game in the UK, and Cricket is like a religion, not just a sport. Ask yourself if the UK would or could sponsor a professional baseball ''league'' or their own. Right, not in this lifetime.
