As a Devils fan, I'd love to see that happen in the Winter Classic. And do not get me wrong, l would definitely show up at that. The sad thing is that l think the chances of that happening any time soon are very bleak.

For one thing, the NBC network apparently has ''no interest'' in a Winter Classic featuring two New York-area teams. They believe that it would cause them to have a lower average rating by the television market.

For a second thing, the Yankees/Rangers fans in NYC would probably be more interested in a matchup with the Boston Bruins, since it reflects on the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry.

When it comes to the Devils, however, Rangers fans generally look upon them as an unworthy team with a lowly fanbase. l saw one Rangers fan online who said, about a Devils-Rangers matchup, ''The Devils?!!! Devil fans do not show up to watch the Devils.'' l felt disgusted when he said that. And he is not the only one I've heard that from.

l mean yeah, it is true that Devils fans do not do a very good job sometimes at attending regular season games. But COME ON!!! Of course they will show up at the Winter Classic! The Winter Classic is not the same thing as any other regular game.

But for a third thing, the NHL would most likely favor an Original Six matchup for a Winter Classic at Yankee Stadium. This means that the Canadiens, Red Wings, or Bruins would be more likely than the Sabres, Islanders, or Devils to play against the Rangers.

So, do l think a Devils-Rangers Winter Classic is possible in the future? Sure. l just do not think that it is going to happen anytime in the next ten or twenty years, since they just started doing these Winter Classic games a year ago.

Should be Bruins v Habs at Fenway. A Canadian team neads to be in it next season as it is only fair. Also Bruins v Habs would be something special in terms of history.

Bruins-Habs would be a great game, however, the Habs played the Oilers in the Heritage Classic a few years ago. Despite it being a great game with great fan bases, Bettman is a jack ass and would share the wealth to other areas. Maybe Bruins-Leafs, or Bruins-Rangers at Fenway. l always thought it would be cool to have a ''winner stays'' system too. Like the King of the outdoor game.

l would like to see a outside hockey game in New York. l was amazed that by watching an outside game one could actually(for the most part) follow the puck(the biggest problem with hockey). l never blame a franchise if they do not draw, but you can blame fans( outside of the insane cost of tickets) for not showing up to games. l would watch or attend this game no matter who were the participants.

Will not happen, l like the Fenway idea though.

l was thinking the same thing yesterday while l watched the game. They should of had the Rangers play another team in Yankee Stadium. It would be another sendoff to Yankee Stadium. But l do not think the Yankees would want a hockey game to be the last game played at the stadium.
