Really, come folks, you do not look cool when you refer to him as ''Han Ram,'' it looks really silly. How about we all stop using these embarrassingly idiotic nicknames? The players do not refer to those two guys by those names, why do you?

l never called Manny ''Man-Ram''. l do not like it. And Ham-Ram is even worse IMO. l think most non-red sox fans called him that, because noone l know calls him that but l see it all over the internet.

It makes me cringe.

l dislike Man Ram, Han Ram and esp. K-rod.. When Francisco Rodriguez was with the angels l always just called him Frankie :)
l think it suits him better than K-rod anyway

I've always thought that ManRam sounded like a type of sandwich or something.

l when l am talking about Alex Rodriguez l call him A-Rod.and sometimes when l am talking about Varitek l call him 'Tek. And Carl Yastrzemski, Yaz.

But l do not think l use any weird nicknames like Han/ManRam. lol.

Everytime l hear those names, l think of my old Masters of the Universe toys (hey l was a kid in the 80's, lol) Anyone remember Ram-Man?

Yeah, those nicknames are not cool, they are a handful of 'nicknames' that really bother me (thank you very much Chris Berman on some of them)

Cause people think it sounds cool. I've never really thought about it though.

However there are some decent nicknames out there, Such as Carl 'American Idle' Pavano.
