l think so. Tampa is rotation is pretty solid with a lot of young guys for defense.

Tampa Bay will be in 2nd next year, and l would give them a shot at the Wild Card. l just have not seen enough big-name moves out of the Red Sox yet (particularly if you put them up against the Bombers) so l will pick them to finish 3rd.

Toronto will be 4th and Baltimore will be 5th.that is a toss-up but l pick Baltimore to be in dead-last because l am not a big Andy McPhailure fan.

Oh Tampa Bay will contend but the Yanks have a leg up with the guys they got in the free agency.
Red Sox should not have let Crisp go, he had a good year for them.

l think the rays were a fluke last year. (see '07 rockies) it will be another race between the yanks and sox.
yes burrell is a good hitter that will add some power but he is not the kind of player that can carry a team. he is too streaky a hitter and strikes out a lot.
l think the rays will finish 3rd or 4th in the AL east.

The Rays were a one hit wonder..everyone on that team had carrer years.which wont happen again.they took first with major injuries to both the Red Sox & The Yankees.the Rays will finish 3rd in front of the Blue Jays only becuase the Jays didnt do any upgrades. Look at the Rockies they came out of no where & now they suck again. Look for the Rays to do the same.

l think tampa will slip. l am picking boston with the east and the yanks as the wild card.

l think the Rays will contend again next year. l think the only reason they did not win the WS this year is because of the lack of veterans with playoff experience. Their rotation is still intact and very strong. l think the Yankees are going to finish no higher than third in the division. GO RAYS!

l do see the Rays contending again but for the wildcard. l see the Red Sox winning the AL East. As for the Yankees, well l think they will finish third again. l hope.
