The guy who says Billy Crystal was ''a legit player in his prime'' is of course, as usual, guessing. Crystal was an average player when he was younger & you're talking to someone who is talked to people who played with him (in softball games which was the only place he ever played). No celebrity would make a great baseball player, otherwise they'd be playing baseball.

The only two l can think of r Kurt Russell, who was actually as secondbaseman in the Angels farm system & Jack something, l forget his last name, an actor, who was in the Expos system.

l think Michael Clarke Duncan could have been a pretty good hitter. He played the part of John Coffey in the movie The Green Mile. He is 6'5'' played basketball in college, had a tryout with the Chicago Bears & according to his IMDB bio he ''ran onto the field & slid into third base during the Disco Demolition Night fiasco at Comiskey Park on July 12, 1979.''
