He just needs two more years to become eligible for the Hall of Fame (must play ten years in the majors) at which time he will be a guaranteed future HOFer. Do you think he can hit 200 hits a year for two more seasons? Already, he is the only guy to start his career with 8 straight 200 hit seasons which is amazing. In fact, take a second and look at his stats, All star every year, MVp, Rookie of the Year, 100 runs scored every season, even with the bad teams.Statistically, his career has been mindboggling so far, l think only equaled by Pujols.

This guy has a good bat and uncanny speed. l have no doubt in my mind that Ichiro could have 200 hits a year for the next two years. He is not showing any sign of slowing down, and 8 straight years of this feat is amazing. The other feats (AL all star every season, MVP, ROY, 100+ runs every season) combined with the 8 straight years of 200+ hits, and you've got yourself one heck of a player. He is a future Hall of Famer in my book.

He can definitely get 200 hits the next 2 years. He could even get 200 hits the next 5 years! He is an amazing hitter!

It is a no-brainer, the guy has shown he can hit 200 hits every season!

Ichiro has the talent and the passion to do that for, in my opinion, probly the next 2-5 years. He is a monster on the offensive and defensive side of the ball, and will easily become a HOF-er as soon as he reaches 10 seasons

Another overlooked feat is that he is played at least 157 games a season in every season he is been here so far. The guy never gets hurt because he takes care of his body so well and he plays the game so fundamentally sound.
