As a Rockies fan I am waiting for that season. l just hope its not 100 years like the Cubs (no offense Cub fans)

It will be a long time. The Rockies r not as miserly as the Marlins, but they're clearly unwilling to pay competitive wages to talented players (exhibit Holliday). So they r stuck waiting for that magical season to come along, when they r full of young talent, that is just ready to mature altogether. And those moments do come along, but they r few & far between. The Blue Jays got a title out of it, the A is took several shots at the postseason, but fizzled out just short. All in all, only the Marlins have succeeded at bringing home the victory in that fashion, not only once, but twice. So it is possible..but l would not hold my breath.

The rockies have a lot of good young hitting their problem is the same as the rangers. they need pitching. When the rockies went on that great run in 07 everything was working for them including their pitching which was doing great. Last season Cook was their only consistent starting pitcher no one else showed up. So they just need to get their pitching together because they can hit.

The rockies seem unpredictable to me. they can have a great year any year. maybe 2009

Well, l am a Cubs fan. so l even hope for u its not 100 years haha. l think the Rockies' problem starts with the owners, GM, etc. They make trades giving up guys they should build a team around, & sit around when they could be getting a great player for their organization. l sometimes think the Rockies r in the same group as Oakland, Florida, & Seattle where they consistently have pieces, but can not put them together, & then trade them away hoping to start over. l think a great season is only a couple moves away, but that does not mean a championship season. That seems far away in my mind. Good luck, though.

Pitching is always going to be a problem for them.

It may not take as long as you think. The west is wide open just about every year.

Not long. It might be this season or next year. But it wo not be long for the Rockies to have another great season like they had in 2007.
