AJ Burnett getting five years for 82 million. That is just gonna blow up in the Yankees face. First off he is on the DL alot and is still injury prone and he has a pretty high era.

Kevin A, Look at Ibanez is stats. 100 RBIs, 20 or more HRs, and a BA around .290, plus it is at Safeco. You just do not pay attention because he is from Seattle.

l would say Milton Bradley. Sure he put up decent stats, but he is way overrated. 3 years and 30 mil are you serious?

He is worse than Burrell, older, and they overpaid for him. He is also a lefty and the Phils needed another rght handed bat. This signing made no sense to me.

Over the long run, it will be the combination of burnett/sabathia. Pitchers who stay dominant for multiple consecutive years are exceptionally rare, which is why you typically do not see giant pitcher contracts. Plus, Sabathia is getting 23 mil a year to play every 5th game, how crazy is that?

l would say milton bradley cuz even if his stats are pretty good it is overshadowed by off task behavior suspentions and pure distractions
